Great tricks by gabika for UIQ3 smartphones users on how to add the ability of apps to autostart when phone turned on. Really guys, you all should appreciate him and contribute him for many of his great works!
- Download SIS Contents 1.0.5 build 31
- Open SIS file with SIS Contents
- Go to Tools, then select Edit Package and click on Contents button.
- Double click the "exe" file to add four (4) capabilities: ReadDeviceData, WriteDeviceData, ReadUserData, WriteUserData [THIS IS MINIMUM CAPABILITIES].
- Open notepad, and write app name eg.: AutoCam.exe and save as AutoCam.ast
- On SIS Contents, click Add Entry then select Add file Entry
- Choose AutoCam.ast. Target: c:\private\10274b9f\import\AutoCam.ast. click OK.
- Save as SIS File...
- Install on your phone!
SOME CLUE :
- here in this tutorial, Gabika intended to make autocam to be autostarted on phone boot. I tested it to make linkboy autostarted, it works great buddy!
- Of course, you can apply it for other apps, just don't forget to change the name of "exe" and "ast" file resemble the apps you modified.
- Look at the pic on step 1 to get the name of the "exe" file. In my case, I used LinkBoy.exe and LinkBoy.ast
- The target location is the same as mentioned above, c:\private\10274b9f\import\
- Ask me if you still have any problems, or just request me the apps to be autostarted and then I'll make it for you ^_^
