Slick is a great IM application for our Sony Ericsson UIQ3 phones (P990i, M600, W950, W960, P1i, etc) that can save message history. Here is the tricks to save the message history and modify the config file.

1. Make sure Slick doesn't run.
   
2. Run Capswitch and Off the Capabilities.
3. Run X-Plore or other file manager, then go to X:\Private\a0000bcf\Messenger (X is the drive where you installed slick) 
4. Inside the folder we could find folder History. We could just copy the whole folder to save our message history.
5. If you want, you could also modify config.txt (config file). Inside slick we could change message history max to 50 messages and history max week to 16 weeks. If we change from this config.txt, we could get more than the maximum value. I change history_num_lines from 50 to 100 (inside config.txt) and then save it. * Run Slick and here we are, having more history message for our Slick.
